DMV Official Brake & Lamp Inspection in Chula Vista

Official Lamp Inspection

In the state of California, a Lamp Inspection is required to ensure that any vehicle being issued a salvage certificate - car, truck, van, heavy-duty, RV, or motorcycle - is in safe, roadworthy condition before being retitled. As a State Licensed Inspection station, we conduct a thorough and complete examination of your vehicle's lamps. Should your lamps be damaged or misaligned due to an accident, theft, or other defect, our DMV certified inspection and repair station in Chula Vista, CA is equipped to restore you lamps to factory standards.

The DMV also requires an Official Lamp Inspection on most vehicles brought in from out of state, vehicles not registered in the past 5 years, or to correct a defect cited by a local or state law enforcement agency.

Once your Lamp Inspection is successfully completed, our Chula Vista Auto Carer team issues a certificate for you to present to the DMV or California Highway Patrol as proof of correction of any defect, and as proof of the safety of the vehicle.
